About Me
My passion is to provide the best massage to those with life changing illnesses,
acute or chronic injuries
or muscular conditions.
It is my hope that massage
can be a valuable tool for you.
I have been a licensed massage therapist in the State of Oregon since 2002. (OR Lic#8027) Since that time, I have continued to advance my education. I have more than 500 post graduate CE hours in Oncology Massage and related subjects. And I have advanced trainings in evaluation and treatment of musculo-skeletal injuries and pathologies. I am a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in Vodder Technique and have taken classes in the Chikly technique as well. My training also includes Breast Cancer Rehabilitation techniques through Klose Training. I am a Certified NeuroMuscular Therapist, Certified Medical Massage Therapist, NCTMB certified and a member of the Society for Oncology Massage (S4OM).
Currently, I am finishing my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on HealthCare and Human Sciences at Marylhurst University.I graduate in June of 2011.
I enjoy volunteering at Oregon Health Science University's Hospital and clinics; with the MS society of Portland Oregon.
